Podiatry

The podiatrist works to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat all disorders of the foot. To access the public podiatrist, you need to be a concession card holder, and have a referral from your Doctor.

Public Podiatry

Lower North Health Podiatry - Bonnie Nicholls

Clare Medical Centre Podiatry Consulting Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.

If you are a new customer to the service, you must have a Healthlink referral from your doctor or an allied health professional, this may include a community nurse, a physiotherapist or an occupational therapist. You will then be contacted once an appointment becomes available. It is important to note that there is currently a waitinglist of some months.

Priority to access the public podiatry system is given to people under 18 years, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with a current Pension Benefits Card, Health Care Benefits Card or Disability Pension Card, as issued by Centrelink. Non-concession card holders with a chronic health condition, combined with an ‘at risk’ foot (requiring more than nail cutting), will also be prioritised.

For an appointment please contact Reception  08 8841 3777.
